GET TO KNOW SUGAR DESIGN

Sugar Design is run by Liz Ungless, a multiple gold medal award winner,  who originally dipped her sugar toe into the water many years ago while still living in Zimbabwe.  She continued to learn after moving to South Africa and had the good fortune to be taught by some of the best Sugarcrafters in the country.

After returning to the UK, she has continued to learn, teach and demonstrate around the country and internationally.  As flowers have become more and more lifelike, she continues to take classes to enable her to pass on an even better learning experience to her students.

Although she still takes on occasional cake commissions, her focus these days is on perfecting flowers and creating a range of botanically correct silicone veiners.
