Miriam Pearson's New Veining Board
An essential item in any sugar florist kit, is the veining board.
Make your wired leave and petals so much quicker by rolling your flower paste over one of the grooves, then cutting out your leaf or petal. the board leaves a channel for you to insert wire into the leaf or petal, and is so much quicker than the twiddle method.
This round veining board has been designed, crafted and made by Miriam Pearson of Sweet Creations, with very fine work in mind. It has 6 grooves, of various sizes and lengths, giving you the option to work on very fine leaves and petals, to larger pieces. The board measures 5inch in diameter, and comes with a non slip mat.
We suggest using cornflour to dust your board, or white vegetable fat to rub over the board, before rolling out your paste, to prevent sticking.
